2023 Community Art Project

In November 2022, we lost most of our hand painted barrels due to an accident  at our warehouse during roof replacement works.

In 2023 we're revisiting our first Community Art Project from 2020 to replenish the shop floor with local creative colour and flair!

We will announce who our amazing barrel painters are after the 9th of August, with the painted barrels due back at RGQ on the 6th of September.

The brief is very simple:

  • Keep your designs family friendly (there's often little ones in the warehouse).

  • Make sure you use a durable paint - the barrels can get a fairly vigorous workout when they're moved around the shop floor.

  • Don't paint on the metal rims!  Paint tends to peel off them really easily.

Keep an eye on this page over the next few months.

We'll upload images of the participating artists and their works as the project progresses!
