Costume Fun School Holiday Workshop
Once upon a time, in a mysterious land of creativity and fun, children were welcomed from near and far to create the costume art of their dreams... This workshop is great for kids who love to dress up! Using a wide array of salvaged materials, children are encouraged to make their own wearable art piece for a costume. They can make helmets, belts, armour, crowns, skirts, masks, you name it... By stapling, gluing, and threading together items, kids will be encouraged to think outside the box in terms of what a costume can be made from. So if you have a budding Queen, dragon, or Knight in your midst - bring them along!
Tinker Bots School Holiday Workshop
Time to tinker! Encourage your kids to experiment with and shape materials to create 3D characters and mechanically-themed robots. In this workshop, children will get to play with a diverse array of salvaged materials to see how they feel, sound, and interact together. In this experimental process they will get to make a humanoid or non-humanoid robot/character. Tinkering can be a great way for children to learn via "trial and error" as often the best discoveries arrive after realising what doesn't work! Suitable for kids and teens of all ages - however children younger than 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
