Craft the perfect Tiny Home with discarded materials! In this workshop kids’ can create a home for their favourite small toys, using a variety of re-use materials such as boxes, fabrics, tiles, metal and more. They can use clay, and other materials to create furniture, and characters for their tiny homes as well! Perhaps they will make a magical fairy's cottage, a grumpy gnomes home or a minion’s mansion? It's time to let their imaginations run wild! This is a great workshop to do in conjunction with the Mini Garden workshop - so kid’s can make their own tiny world.

Children's Workshop

Make your own Magical Mini Garden! In this workshop, children can learn the skills to make their own 3D Garden diorama. It can be a traditional garden or as fantastical as their imagination allows… They can build seats, swings, plants, trees, wheel barrows, sheds, garden pieces, and more! Kids' will use industrial discards such as 3D cones, wire, clay, artificial grass off cuts, along with plastics to create different spaces in the garden. This workshop can be stand alone, or in addition to the Tiny Homes workshop where Children can make their own mini house!

Let’s make a magnificent Monster Machine! Now Monster machines can be BIG and monster machines can be ScAry! Kids can make a great big Monster-size machine, or they can make a Scary Monster on wheels - the choice is theirs! This workshop will focus on how kid’s can problem solve to create the parts of their machine: like wheels, wings, tyres, windows, and also how to make them move and be scary! They will use an array of clean industrial discards to achieve the Monster Machine of their dreams. Aimed at slightly older children and teens of 10 and above - but any children younger than 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

From suburban streets and parks, to creeks and wetlands, to coastal waters and jungles - these are the fragile habitats that so many of our wonderful creatures inhabit. In this workshop, children can get busy creating their favourite furry, feathery or scaly creature from their local environment or from places further afield! They will get to experiment and create with clean industrial discards, such as contact, plastic, foam, sheepskin and so much more. So will they pick a feathery kookaburra, a furry possum, a scaly croc or something else entirely? Let their imagination decide! Suitable for kids and teens of all ages - however children younger than 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
