Swab the decks and man the ropes! Transform rescued materials into fantastic floating vessels in this creative eco-art workshop.

This workshop will challenge kids to think about the properties of the materials they are using and to plan their design accordingly. It will encourage critical thinking, problem solving and experimentation to create a boat that floats using salvaged materials. Whether they dream of crafting a mighty pirate galleon, an elegant Chinese junk ship, a swift Viking longship, or their own unique design, they will learn how thoughtful reuse can keep both our oceans clean and our boats afloat.

Suitable for kids and teens of all ages - however children younger than 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
