Making with Leather Adult Eco-Art Workshop
Discover the art of leather-craft and sustainable living in our leather making workshop using salvaged materials! Join us as we guide you through the process of transforming discarded leather scraps into beautiful and functional pieces. Our facilitators will teach you the basics of working with leather including basic pattern making and tool use, joining using saddle stitch and embroidery, as well as decorative features such as beading and fringing, all while emphasising the importance of reducing waste and repurposing materials, particularly leather. With full access to our treasure trove of salvaged materials, participants will leave the workshop with the knowledge and skills to continue making with leather at home and a personalised pouch, bag or accessory to take home.
Tinker Bots School Holiday Workshop
Time to tinker! Encourage your kids to experiment with and shape materials to create 3D characters and mechanically-themed robots. In this workshop, children will get to play with a diverse array of salvaged materials to see how they feel, sound, and interact together. In this experimental process they will get to make a humanoid or non-humanoid robot/character. Tinkering can be a great way for children to learn via "trial and error" as often the best discoveries arrive after realising what doesn't work! Suitable for kids and teens of all ages - however children younger than 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Costume Fun School Holiday Workshop
Once upon a time, in a mysterious land of creativity and fun, children were welcomed from near and far to create the costume art of their dreams... This workshop is great for kids who love to dress up! Using a wide array of salvaged materials, children are encouraged to make their own wearable art piece for a costume. They can make helmets, belts, armour, crowns, skirts, masks, you name it... By stapling, gluing, and threading together items, kids will be encouraged to think outside the box in terms of what a costume can be made from. So if you have a budding Queen, dragon, or Knight in your midst - bring them along!
Playful Pets School Holiday Workshop
Want your very own pet to play with? Make use of salvaged materials and create your own feathery or furry friend! With a big slice of imagination and plenty of materials available, in this workshop, children can get crafty and make a new favourite pet. If they already have a real pet at home, they could make their own mini-version too. Kid's can use salvaged fur to make a cuddly kitty-cat, vinyl off-cuts to craft a colourful chook, or even use carpet pieces to create a blue-heeler dog… Whatever pet they can dream up, they can make! Make-a-Kite School Holiday Workshop

In this fun workshop, kids get to create their very own kite using materials like plastic bags, bamboo/plastic sticks, and string. Follow our step-by-step guide to build a cool Diamond Kite that really flies. It’s perfect for light to moderate winds, and is an ideal way to get your child's creativity flowing. Tiny Homes School Holiday Workshop 2
Craft the perfect Tiny Home with discarded materials! In this workshop kids’ can create a home for their favourite small toys, using a variety of re-use materials such as boxes, fabrics, tiles, metal and more. They can use clay, and other materials to create furniture, and characters for their tiny homes as well! Perhaps they will make a magical fairy's cottage, a grumpy gnomes home or a minion’s mansion? It's time to let their imaginations run wild! This is a great workshop to do in conjunction with the Mini Garden workshop - so kid’s can make their own tiny world.
Mini Gardens School Holiday Workshop 2
Make your own Magical Mini Garden! In this workshop, children can learn the skills to make their own 3D Garden diorama. It can be a traditional garden or as fantastical as their imagination allows… They can build seats, swings, plants, trees, wheel barrows, sheds, garden pieces, and more! Kids' will use industrial discards such as 3D cones, wire, clay, artificial grass off cuts, along with plastics to create different spaces in the garden. This workshop can be stand alone, or in addition to the Tiny Homes workshop where Children can make their own mini house!

Monster Machines School Holiday Workshop 1
Let’s make a magnificent Monster Machine! Now Monster machines can be BIG and monster machines can be ScAry! Kids can make a great big Monster-size machine, or they can make a Scary Monster on wheels - the choice is theirs! This workshop will focus on how kid’s can problem solve to create the parts of their machine: like wheels, wings, tyres, windows, and also how to make them move and be scary! They will use an array of clean industrial discards to achieve the Monster Machine of their dreams. Aimed at slightly older children and teens of 10 and above - but any children younger than 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
